A successful office assistant will be able to work part-time in a professionally run, home-based business that provides technical lighting support to lighting manufacturers, sales representatives, engineers, and architects.

General Duties:
Answer incoming calls
Log-in and prioritize all incoming projects
Field and maintain an orderly storage system, both electronic and hard copy
Maintain office handbook and procedure manuals
Maintain office calendar, including staff vacations, business trips, events, meetings
Prepare agenda and handout for any office events
Maintain office equipment and supplies
Maintain contact list for personnel and all clients
Proof read and edit documentation prior to publishing and distribution
Provide general office training to all incoming staff
Assist staff with travel scheduling including lodging, airfare, appointments



Skill sets:
Office Suite
google docs, calendar, gmail
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage and schedule time wisely
Be flexible with daily scheduling
Effective communication skills
Professional demeanor, language, and grammar
