Frontside Café is a new café in Ventura that focuses on Australian/Coastal Californian cuisine with a local upscale coffee program. Owner/Executive Chef Joel Huff has worked in fine dining restaurants all over world with his latest position as a Corporate Chef.  We are looking to hire a motivated and energetic food runner to join our team. Responsibilities for Food Runner

• Ensure a customer is receiving the correct order
• Double check the order before it goes to a customer
• Organize food tickets for the chefs
• Refresh silverware on the table as needed
• Clean off and sanitize a table after customers have left
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct customer
• Answer any questions from customers and be familiar with all menu items and ingredients
• Refill customer drinks as needed
• Standard cleaning or restaurant prior to opening and closing at the end of the shift

Qualifications for Food Runner

• Ability to listen to directions
• Current food handler certification card (may be obtain once hired)
• Great organizational skills
• Able to move at least 40 pounds
• Able to stand on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
• Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
• Knowledge of food safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have food handlers certificate
