JOB DESCRIPTION
- Placement of fiber optic & coax cables
- Working on aerial spans
- Splicing of coax cable and installing outside plant equipment for CATV
- Installing strand
- Lashing cable, applying tension to cable
- Install/ Repair
- Ability to safely operate a bucket truck
- Utilize standard telecommunications tools
- Access various installation points
- Access construction points as required
- Proficient in new build, coax & and pole transfers
- Knowledge in building strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding
- Building and repairing aerial cables/OSP

JOB REQUIREMENTS
·        A valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clean driving record
- Candidates must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test
- Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner
- Must be punctual, responsible and well organized
- Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials.
- Must be capable of handling logistics and crew assignments
- Possess your own reliable transportation
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet)
- Able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights
