CATERING DIRECTOR - Salsarita's Hubbard's Lane Location

Local restaurant group looking for a talented Catering Director to manage, operate and promote our already successful catering business.  The applicant will have positive high energy to spread an enthusiastic and exciting culture among the associates and our catering customers.

Applicants to have at least 5 years of catering experience with a proven track record of achieving results and building a customer basis. Must have a general knowledge of operational procedures and organizing a team to accomplish our catering needs.  Be able to provide positive direction, training and coaching while understanding and demonstrating good standards, policies and procedures.

Operationally executing all the catering orders by doing the following job duties:

·        Communicate with the drivers and establish schedules and procedures.

·        Route the drivers and communicate with the drivers any special instructions. 

·        Handles call in orders (routing, ringing in and communicating the responsibilities of the cold, hot and set up to staff)

·        Keeps in communication with the night managers on any other orders that were taken throughout the evening.

·        Communicate all large orders to management for inventory purposes.

·        Communicates with staff for daily preparation.

·        Fields all catering concerns or special requests.  

·        Provides training and direction to all catering associates.

·        Enters all catering orders in accounting and operational database.  

·        Helps to build sales by ensuring the catering orders are properly executed and provides follow up calls.
